Like so many couples in 2020, the pandemic left Jocelyn and Sean's original wedding plans in the dust. They wanted a big celebration with their friends and family but the unpredictability of pandemic had them scheduling and rescheduling their event. They made the ultimate decision to delay no longer and I got the call "We want to elope!" I was thrilled, elopements are so romantic and one of my favorite events to photograph. With ongoing communication we planned their new vision of what their day would be like. Although the couple had to consider social distancing while planning their day, it all came together so beautifully.
Jocelyn had her bouquet made by Forest Flowers based in Northampton, Ma. It was truly a stunner.

They started their day getting ready at an airbnb in Amherst, Ma.

Sean found some chickens to hang out with while Jocelyn finished getting ready.

Maybe you can see in the background, Jocelyn's Mom videoing in on her phone so she was part of the getting ready part of the day.

A sweet moment between Jocelyn and her Mom going over the final touches together.

After some happy tear, she is ready for the first look.

Spying on Sean while he waits patiently to see Jocelyn.

Next: On route to their secret spot with lush evergreens to exchange vows.

They packed two picnic baskets full of warm blankets, their favorite foods and bottle of champagne. While we shot some post ceremony portraits, my assistant got their picnic ready.

They ended their day soaking up the last moments of sunshine in the Northampton air fields. They watched planes fly in while they ran around the fields keeping each other warm. A perfect end to a perfect day.
