Looking for wedding inspiration during this time when everything feels stuck on pause? Well let me introduce Casuarina and Vasilis. I am so inspired by this couple and the beautiful day they created for themselves. Although they kept their wedding attendance under 20 guests, the day felt as full and meaningful as any large wedding I've attended. The wedding ceremony was held outside at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home in Manchester, Vermont. The lush flower gardens stretched out along the property that led to a clearing with sweeping views of the mountains where the ceremony was held. I was able to sneak away with the couple for portraits where we explored the property chasing the sunset. The celebration continued at the historic Ye Old Taverne (Circa 1790!). Guests and the couple relaxed, sipping their cocktails in an open air barn; styled to the nines. The tables were covered in crushed velvet and vintage lace. The candle lit room was adorned with beautiful florals gathered in vintage milk glass vases. Words never do a wedding day justice so here are some of my favorite snap shots from the day.
